To continue achieving the corporate mission of delivering the perfect user experience, Thermaltake developed “TT Premium” with the essence of combining supreme quality products with a new logo design. TT Premium is far more than just a guarantee of quality. Behind the name, it represents the passion in DIY, Modding and Thermaltake’s desire to be the most innovative brand in the PC hardware market. To satisfy the demand of the high-end PC users, TT Premium follows its core values of Excellent Quality, Unique Design, Diverse Combinations and Boundless Creativity to provide a high performance PC product for every enthusiast.

Tt LCS Certified is a Thermaltake exclusive certification applied to only products that pass the design and hardcore enthusiasts standards that a true LCS chassis should be held to. The Tt LCS certification was created so that we at Thermaltake can designate to all power users which chassis have been tested to be best compatible with extreme liquid cooling configurations to ensure you get the best performance from the best features and fitment.

The Level 20 XT carries over the innovations of some of our earlier cube case designs by splitting the chassis into two chambers. The chamber houses the motherboard tray GPU and other PCI-E cards, while the lower chamber houses the power supply, storage devices and cooling elements.

The front, top and side panels are all built from our ultra-durable 4mm tempered glass. This means the panels are more resistant to dust and scratches than acrylic and provide a clearer view of internal components.

I think I actually prefer this case to the superb GT, the build process is so easy it is a joy to use, and the cooling options are phenomenal. At £200 I don’t even think it is priced that badly, there a lot of cases priced higher than this or at a similar level, many of which don’t offer the level of features available here. The lower cost compared to the Level 20 GT RGB is due to the limited fan selection, but this gives you £100 to spend on your own preference.
The main consideration is its form factor, I don’t think the overall size is larger than the GT model, but its width, length and height make placement in a room a little more difficult. If you are a fan of big cases this absolutely should be worth considering.
Overall, this has to be one of the best solutions on the market for high end builds incorporating elaborate liquid cooling set-ups.
While I have only reviewed a few cases this year, nearly all from Thermaltake, and it is not the end of the year yet, I have a strong suspicion it will be my favourite case of the year. It is cheaper than the GT and you get a lot more room to build in with an exceptional amount of cooling options and customisability.
In many ways the Level 20 XT is a lot like its predecessor in the Core X series. It's a blank canvas and less of a complete-feeling case due to the fact its massive size and vacant fan mounts mean it does look incomplete without a monstrous water-cooling system inside it. However, we like what Thermaltake has done as the Core X series was certainly not going to win any beauty contests. The Level 20 XT is much more attractive and more solid feeling too.
There are a few niggles such as the gaps in its dust defences, potentially awkwardly placed front panel, and, as you can see above, some of the unattractive machined and drilled support beams could do with some covers, as they stick out like sore thumbs compared to the jazzed up exterior. However, it costs a fraction of the other big boys out there such as the SilverStone TJ11 and Corsair 1000D, yet it can house all the cooling you could ever need. The only competition in this price range comes from more refined tower cases such as the Phanteks Enthoo Evolv X, which has enough water-cooling potential for most HEDT overclocked setups. If needs must, though, and you have several dozen massive radiators that need a new home, the Level 20 XT is ready and willing.
